In January 2021, the newly established Thrive Community Church gathered at Hobby’s Hoagies to assemble 200 PB&J sandwiches. Each sandwich was personally handed out to the neighbors living on nearby streets. In these simple acts of kindness, God began stirring the hearts of His people.

The outreach has since grown to consistently serve around 85 people each month. We bring hot dogs, snacks, clothing, hygiene kits, and more to meet the needs of our community. These basic items have opened the door to establishing genuine, consistent relationships with our unhoused neighbors. We are blessed to call them friends and family, and we look forward to spending time with them each month.
